- elbow one’s way through ~ [~을 밀어 제치고 지나가다]
- encroach on [upon] ~ [~을 침해하다]
- encroach upon a person’s right [남의 권리를 침해하다]
- ensure A against B [A를 B에서 지키다]
- entrust a thing to a person = entrust a person with a thing [누구에게 물건을 맡기다(일임하다)]
- I entrusted the task to him. [나는 그에게 그 일을 일임했다.]
- exact A from B [B에게 A를 강요하다]
- exact obedience from a student [학생에게 복종을 강요하다]
- exert oneself [노력하다=for, to do]
- expend ~in …ing [~을 ~하는데 소모하다]
- expend time in thinking about it [시간을 그것을 생각하는데 소비하다]
- expend ~ on … [ ~을 ~에 소모하다]
- expend money on dresses [돈을 의복에 소비하다]
